Surf Estates is one of the newer communities in North Myrtle Beach, and is located off of Sea Mountain Highway (Cherry Grove Beach). As you exit the community, there is access to Highway 17, Highway 31, Highway 9, and Highway 90. This in-demand neighborhood is less than one mile to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean—a quick golf cart ride or leisurely walk.

The neighborhood of Surf Estates is a luxury custom-home community with large lots—some wooded, others with lake or golf course views. There is a new section of Charleston-type homes called The Cottages at the Surf, which encompasses multi-story models on smaller lots.

Surf Estates began construction in 2008, and houses ranges from approximately 2,000 sq. ft. to 6,000 sq. ft. Prices go from about $500K to $1.3 million with residences having from three to seven bedrooms. Cherry Grove Beach is a quiet, family-friendly area with quick beach and Intracoastal Waterway access.

Residents can enjoy the North Myrtle Beach Surf, Golf, and Beach Club, which forms the community's eastern border. There also is a community pool, lakes, and fountains throughout the well-landscaped neighborhood.

Local kids attend Ocean Drive Elementary, North Myrtle Beach Middle School, and North Myrtle Beach High School.
