Myrtle Beach Museums
Here in Myrtle Beach, we're known best for our charming outdoor attractions. But if you're looking for a break from the beaches and boardwalks, there are also a lot of interesting indoor things to do in Myrtle Beach. Take these museums, for example.

Museums in Myrtle Beach offer an opportunity to explore local art, history, and culture. They're also a great way to beat the summer heat, and our real estate agents are excited to share some of their favorites.

  • Myrtle Beach Art Museum - 3100 S Ocean Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
One of the premier art museums in South Carolina, the Myrtle Beach Art Museum—more properly known as the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum—is a great place to experience local and regional art. Free of charge and convenient to these Myrtle Beach homes for sale, the museum hosts an ever-changing array of exhibits that mostly highlight South Carolina artists. The museum also houses an impressive permanent collection of Southern art.

  • Myrtle Beach Pinball Museum - 607 27th Ave N, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

The viewable selection varies, but expect to see 25-plus pinball machines on display at any given time.

  • EdVenture Children's Museum - 4005 Howard Ave, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577
Kids can learn through hands-on play at the EdVenture Children's Museum, located in Market Common in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Spanning 3,000 square feet, the museum provides a wide range of classes and programs for kids of all ages. Subjects range from art and science to cooking and gardening.

  • The Kaminski House Museum - 1003 Front St, Georgetown, SC 29440
